Description

The 330701-00-25-10-11-05 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probe provides non-contact vibration and displacement measurement with 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil) output for automated monitoring on fluid-film bearing machines. Featuring an 11 mm probe tip, 1.0 m total length, 5/8-18 UNF thread, and IP67 dust/water protection, the 330701-00-25-10-11-05 3300 XL 11 mm probe extends the linear measurement range compared to 8 mm probes. The probe includes miniature coaxial ClickLoc connectors with connector protectors, braided copper shielding, and optional FluidLoc cable to prevent oil ingress. Operating between -40°C to +85°C, the 330701-00-25-10-11-05 3300 XL 11 mm is ideal for axial position, rod drop, ramp expansion, tachometer, and Keyphasor signal measurements in automated systems. CableLoc attachment ensures 330 N (75 lb) pull strength for reliable automated connection.

Applications

Axial (Thrust) Position Monitoring
The 330701-00-25-10-11-05 3300 XL 11 mm measures axial shaft displacement on turbines and compressors, using its 11 mm probe tip and 2 mm linear range to capture precise thrust movement without physical contact.

Rod Drop Measurement on Reciprocating Compressors
Using the recommended gap of 1.27 mm, the 330701-00-25-10-11-05 3300 XL 11 mm detects rod drop in automated monitoring systems, ensuring timely data for maintenance scheduling.

Ramp Differential Expansion on Steam Turbines
The probe’s high sensitivity (<2 mV change per volt) and 3.94 V/mm output allow automated measurement of shaft expansion, helping track thermal growth during turbine start-up.

Competitive Advantage

Extended Linear Range
The 11 mm tip and 2 mm linear range provide more measurement coverage than 8 mm probes, reducing the need for repositioning in automated installations.

High Pull-Strength Cable Attachment
CableLoc design ensures 330 N (75 lb) pull strength, maintaining consistent electrical connection in automated systems with vibration or movement.

Oil-Resistant Cable Option
Optional FluidLoc cable prevents oil ingress, allowing automated monitoring in lubricated or high-temperature machinery.

Direct Integration with 3300 XL Systems
The 330701-00-25-10-11-05 3300 XL 11 mm replaces 7200-series probes without system redesign, reducing installation time in automated plants.

Connector Protection in Humid Environments
ClickLoc connectors with protector maintain signal integrity and simplify automated cable installation in wet or humid conditions.
