Description
The 330190-080-01-00 3300 XL Extended Temperature Range (ETR) 8 mm Extension Cable is specifically engineered for high-temperature industrial automation environments where standard 3300 XL cables may not withstand extreme conditions. Designed to operate from -52°C to +260°C (-62°F to +500°F), this ETR extension cable pairs with 3300 XL ETR probes to ensure accurate position and vibration monitoring in centrifugal compressors, refrigeration systems, and other fluid-film bearing machinery. Constructed from 75Ω triaxial perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) insulated cable, the ETR extension cable provides exceptional chemical and thermal resistance while maintaining a linear range of 2 mm (80 mils) and supporting frequency response from 0 to 10 kHz with up to 305 meters (1000 ft) of field wiring. Features such as armored cable protection, a patented CableLoc design for 330 N pull strength, and compatibility with standard 3300 XL Proximitor Sensors make it ideal for automated industrial monitoring systems requiring reliability, precision, and long-term durability. This cable also supports minimal output sensitivity change (<2 mV per volt), ensuring consistent automated data acquisition in harsh conditions.
Applications
High-Temperature Compressor Monitoring
Used with 3300 XL ETR probes to monitor vibration and position in centrifugal or refrigeration compressors operating above 177°C, ensuring automation systems maintain precision under extreme heat.
Extended Process Gas Turbine Automation
Supports real-time position and radial vibration measurements in gas turbines where standard cables cannot tolerate surface temperatures exceeding 200°C, improving predictive maintenance accuracy.
Long-Distance Remote Sensing
Capable of maintaining frequency response up to 10 kHz across 7–305 meters of cable, enabling automated monitoring from remote or hard-to-access machinery areas.
