Description
The 330104-04-09-50-02-02 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe is a high-performance eddy current proximity transducer specifically engineered for industrial automation, machinery condition monitoring, and fluid-film bearing systems. This probe delivers an output voltage directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the conductive surface, providing highly accurate measurement of both static positions and dynamic vibrations. With a linear range of 2 mm (80 mils), M10x1 threaded housing, and unthreaded length of 40 mm, it is optimized for stable installation in tight or high-vibration environments.
Equipped with a 5-meter miniature coaxial ClickLoc cable, this probe ensures secure signal transmission and supports optional FluidLoc cable design to prevent fluid leakage. With CSA, ATEX, and IECEx approvals, it is suitable for hazardous environments, operating reliably over a temperature range from -52°C to +177°C (-62°F to +350°F). The probe’s patented TipLoc molding method and CableLoc design provide 330 N (75 lbf) pull strength, ensuring a robust mechanical bond between the cable and probe tip. Fully compatible and interchangeable with other 3300 series probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, the 3300 XL 8 mm system supports API 670 compliance, delivering precise, reliable monitoring for automated maintenance and predictive diagnostics of high-speed rotating machinery.
Applications
Rotating Machinery Monitoring
The 330104-04-09-50-02-02 monitors shaft vibration and displacement in turbines, compressors, and motors with a 2 mm linear range, detecting misalignment or imbalance early to prevent mechanical failures.
Long-Distance Installations
With a 5.0-meter cable length and 90 mm case, the 330104-04-09-50-02-02 enables accurate measurement over extended distances in large industrial facilities.
Hazardous and Extreme Environments
Operating from -52°C to +177°C and approved for CSA, ATEX, and IECEx, the 330104-04-09-50-02-02 performs reliably in extreme temperatures, explosive atmospheres, and heavy-duty industrial environments.
