Description
The 330104-00-05-50-02-00 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe is a high-precision eddy current transducer designed for vibration and displacement monitoring in fluid-film bearing machines. With a 2 mm (80 mils) linear range and 50 Ω output resistance, this probe provides highly accurate measurements of both static positions and dynamic vibrations. The 8 mm probe tip, paired with a 5.0-meter (16.4 feet) standard extension cable, enables flexible installation even in tight or restricted spaces.
The probe features a robust M10x1 stainless steel case and a Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) tip, allowing continuous operation in temperatures from -52°C to +177°C (-62°F to +350°F). The ClickLoc miniature coaxial connector and patented CableLoc design ensure a secure 330 N (75 lb) pull strength connection, preventing cable loosening in high-vibration environments. Optional FluidLoc cable prevents process fluids from leaking, enhancing system reliability in industrial automation applications. Fully compliant with API 670 standards, the 3300 XL 8 mm system also supports backward compatibility with 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm probes, enabling cost-effective retrofits and upgrades.
