Description
The 330103-05-13-10-02-00 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe is a high-precision eddy current sensor engineered for industrial automation, predictive maintenance, and real-time condition monitoring. Designed with a 130 mm overall case length and 50 mm unthreaded section, it connects via a 1.0-meter miniature coaxial ClickLoc cable (standard type) to deliver accurate position and vibration measurements. Its 2 mm linear range and 50 Ω output resistance provide precise output voltage proportional to the gap between the probe tip and the conductive target. With operating temperatures from −52°C to +177°C and a supply sensitivity of less than 2 mV/V, this probe ensures reliable performance in extreme environments. The M10x1 threaded housing with a 15 mm maximum engagement enables secure mounting, while TipLoc and CableLoc patented designs provide 330 N pull strength for cable and probe tip reliability. Fully backward compatible with all 3300 series and 3300 XL components, this probe allows seamless upgrades and component interchangeability without bench calibration. Optional FluidLoc cable protection prevents oil or liquid ingress, extending probe service life in harsh industrial applications.
Applications
Application 1: Turbine and Compressor Monitoring
Provides accurate shaft vibration and displacement measurements on high-speed turbines and compressors, detecting misalignment or imbalance with ±0.1% gap accuracy, preventing costly downtime.
Application 2: Fluid-Film Bearing Clearance Analysis
Monitors dynamic shaft position in pumps and motors with fluid-film bearings, maintaining optimum clearance and reducing bearing wear by up to 15%, improving machine efficiency.
Application 3: Keyphasor Speed Reference
Generates Keyphasor signals for precise rotational speed and phase detection, supporting advanced predictive maintenance algorithms and enabling real-time diagnostics.
Application 4: Harsh Environment Monitoring
Operates reliably in extreme temperatures (−52°C to +177°C) and industrial atmospheres, allowing deployment in petrochemical, power generation, and offshore equipment monitoring.
Application 5: Automated Control Systems Integration
Integrates with PLC, DCS, or SCADA systems for real-time feedback on rotational machinery, supporting automated control adjustments and operational optimization.
