Description
The 330103-00-03-05-02-00 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe is a high-precision eddy current transducer designed for industrial automation, machinery monitoring, and vibration analysis. This probe provides an output voltage directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the monitored conductive surface, enabling accurate measurement of both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) signals.
With a linear range of 2 mm (80 mils), a robust M10x1 threaded stainless steel case, and an operating temperature from -52°C to +177°C, the 3300 XL 8 mm probe is engineered for fluid-film bearing machines, high-speed rotors, and tight installation spaces. Its miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector and 0.5-meter standard cable ensure quick, secure connections, while the optional FluidLoc cable prevents oil or other liquids from leaking through the cable interface.
The probe also incorporates Bently Nevada’s patented TipLoc molding method for a strong bond between probe tip and body, and a CableLoc design providing 330 N (75 lbf) pull strength to enhance mechanical reliability. Fully compliant with API 670 standards for linearity, accuracy, and temperature stability, the 3300 XL 8 mm probe offers interchangeability with other 3300 series probes and Proximitor sensors, minimizing the need for recalibration.
