Description
The 330101-00-77-20-02-CN 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe is a high-precision eddy current transducer designed for industrial automation, machinery vibration monitoring, and shaft position measurement. This probe produces an output voltage directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive target, providing accurate readings of both static position and dynamic vibration. With a linear range of 2 mm (80 mils) and a full operational temperature rating of -52°C to +177°C (-62°F to +350°F), it is ideal for harsh industrial environments. The probe features a 3/8-24 UNF threaded stainless steel case, Miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector, and is compatible with field wiring from 0.2 to 1.5 mm² (16 to 24 AWG). Its advanced design incorporates TipLoc molding for a strong, durable bond between probe tip and body, and CableLoc technology providing 330 N (75 lbf) pull strength to secure the probe cable. Optional FluidLoc cable sealing ensures that oil or other process liquids cannot enter the cable interior. CSA, ATEX, and IECEx approvals allow safe deployment in hazardous areas, while full backward compatibility with existing 3300 series components reduces installation complexity and enables seamless upgrades for automation systems.
Applications
Keyphasor Reference and Speed Sensing
Generates precise Keyphasor signals for speed control, phase monitoring, and synchronization in automated manufacturing or energy systems.
Automation in Hazardous Environments
CSA, ATEX, and IECEx approvals allow the probe to be safely deployed in chemical, petrochemical, and gas-processing facilities where automation requires reliable sensing under strict safety standards.
OEM Machinery Integration
Designed for tight installation spaces, enabling OEMs to integrate accurate 8 mm probes without modifying existing monitoring systems, supporting automation in compact machinery layouts.
