Description
The 330101-00-12-50-01-05 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe is a precision sensor engineered for advanced industrial automation applications. Designed to measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values, this 5-meter (16.4 feet) probe is compatible with the 3300 XL Proximity Transducer System, delivering high-fidelity signals directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the monitored conductive surface. Constructed with a 3/8-24 UNF threaded stainless steel case, and incorporating a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector with protector, it provides secure and reliable connections even in harsh industrial environments. With an operating temperature range of -52°C to +177°C (-62°F to +350°F), a linear range of 2 mm (80 mils), and an output resistance of 50 Ω, this probe ensures precise and repeatable measurements in fluid-film bearing machines, compressors, turbines, and pumps. Its CSA, ATEX, and IECEx approvals make it suitable for hazardous environments, while the patented TipLoc molding and CableLoc designs enhance durability and protect against cable pull forces of up to 330 N (75 lbf). The optional FluidLoc cable prevents fluid ingress, maintaining integrity in lubrication-heavy machinery. The 3300 XL probe is fully backward compatible with previous 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm probes and is interchangeable with existing extension cables and Proximitor sensors, minimizing installation complexity and maintenance requirements.
