The SEL-351A protection system combines directional overcurrent elements, feeder reclosing, fault location, metering, event recording, Ethernet communications, and IEEE C37.118 synchrophasors.
Phase, negative-sequence, residual, and neutral overcurrent elements work with four-shot reclosing and synchronism-check logic. The relay records events, locates faults, meters power and energy, and monitors breaker operating time and wear. Built-in Ethernet, serial ports, and supported automation protocols connect the relay to SCADA, engineering, and synchrophasor systems.
