Description

The 3500/22M 138607-01 Transient Data Interface Module connects Bently Nevada™ 3500 racks to System 1 Condition Monitoring and Diagnostic software, combining 3500/20 Rack Interface Module functions with communication processor capabilities. The 3500/22M 138607-01 Transient Data Interface Module consumes 10.5 W, supports front panel USB-B, 10Base-T/100Base-TX Ethernet, and 100Base-FX fiber-optic I/O, and auto-senses Ethernet links. Front panel LEDs on the 3500/22M 138607-01 Transient Data Interface Module indicate OK, TX/RX, TM, and CONFIG OK status, while Trip Multiply, Alarm Inhibit, and Rack Reset contacts handle <1 mAdc dry contact currents. USB-B connections up to 5 m and baud rates up to 115.2 kbaud ensure fast data transfer. Operating from -30°C to +65°C and storing from -40°C to +85°C with 95% non-condensing humidity, the 3500/22M 138607-01 Transient Data Interface Module collects steady-state and transient waveform data from 3500 M-series monitors and passes it to host software. Optional Channel Enabling Disks allow high-resolution transient capture. With battery life of 38 years powered and 12 years unpowered at 50°C, the 3500/22M 138607-01 Transient Data Interface Module ensures long-term automation data acquisition and reliable rack integration.

Applications

Collect Steady-State Data from 3500 M-Series Monitors

The 3500/22M 138607-01 Transient Data Interface Module continuously acquires vibration, temperature, and process signals from 3500 M-series monitors. With Ethernet auto-sensing at 10Base-T/100Base-TX and USB-B support up to 5 m, the 3500/22M 138607-01 Transient Data Interface Module ensures signal loss remains below 0.5%, enabling precise data for automated condition monitoring.

Capture High-Resolution Transient Waveforms

Using optional Channel Enabling Disks, the 3500/22M 138607-01 Transient Data Interface Module records dynamic waveforms at high resolution. Its <1 mAdc Trip Multiply, Alarm Inhibit, and Rack Reset contacts allow accurate transient signal capture without affecting rack operations.

Integrate with Remote Automation and Diagnostic Systems

The 3500/22M 138607-01 Transient Data Interface Module uses 100Base-FX fiber-optic Ethernet to transmit data over long distances, linking racks to System 1 software or industrial control systems for real-time diagnostics and predictive maintenance.

Manage Rack Operations Remotely

Trip Multiply, Alarm Inhibit, and Rack Reset outputs of the 3500/22M 138607-01 Transient Data Interface Module handle <1 mAdc currents, letting operators remotely reset channels, inhibit alarms, or place racks in Trip Multiply mode safely and efficiently.
