Description
The 330903-00-02-10-02-00 3300 NSv Proximity Probe is a high-precision eddy current transducer engineered for industrial automation applications, including centrifugal compressors, refrigeration compressors, and process gas compressors with limited installation space. Featuring a compact 20 mm overall case length and an M8X1 threaded housing, the probe accommodates small shaft diameters and restricted side-view environments while delivering accurate radial vibration, axial position, and speed measurements. Its 1.0-meter (39 in) standard coaxial ClickLoc cable, combined with a TipLoc molded PPS probe tip and stainless steel (AISI 304) body, ensures mechanical robustness, chemical resistance, and reliable signal integrity. With a linear range of 1.5 mm (60 mils), recommended gap of 1.0 mm (40 mils), 50 Ω output resistance, and supply sensitivity under 2 mV per volt input, the 3300 NSv probe integrates seamlessly with 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensors, offering high accuracy, long-term stability, and simplified maintenance for automated monitoring systems.
Applications
Radial Vibration Measurement
Enables precise detection of radial vibrations on shafts smaller than 51 mm (2 in), supporting automated monitoring of imbalance or misalignment in compressors and turbines.
Axial (Thrust) Position Monitoring
Facilitates automated tracking of axial displacement on small flat targets (<15 mm), ensuring early fault detection in fluid-film bearing machines.
Tachometer and Speed Sensing
Generates high-fidelity speed and zero-speed signals for industrial control systems, improving process automation and synchronization of rotating equipment.
Tight Installation Environments
Designed for areas with counter bore, side-view, or rear-view restrictions, the compact 20 mm probe allows automated measurements without machine disassembly.

Competitive Advantage
Compact and High-Precision Design
With only 20 mm overall case length and 1.5 mm linear range, it delivers accurate measurements in confined spaces without compromising performance.
Mechanical and Chemical Robustness
The AISI 304 stainless steel body and polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) probe tip withstand harsh industrial conditions and corrosive environments.
Enhanced Side-View Characteristics
Optimized for restricted-access locations, the probe allows gap settings comparable to larger 3000-series probes, supporting precise automated measurements.
Compatibility with Existing Systems
Mechanically and electrically interchangeable with 3300 RAM proximity probes, facilitating system upgrades without replacing cables or sensors.
Reliable Connectivity
Equipped with ClickLoc connectors and CableLoc design, the probe supports 220 N (50 lb) pull strength, ensuring secure attachment and stable signals for automation networks.
